The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that January 1 to 3, 2017, would be non-working public holidays in Kyrgyzstan, but that Monday, January 9, 2017, would be a regular day for Tuesday, January 3 being a one-off non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan in 2017.
The aforementioned announcement of the "Government Resolution Dated December 12, 2016 No.665 About Transfer Of The Working Day" represents a reversal as compared to last month's announcement (2016-11-26) by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic who had ruled-out the declaration of a longer period of non-working public holidays in Kyrgyzstan and specified that Monday, January 2, and Monday, January 9, 2017, would be the only non-working public holidays in Kyrgyzstan in January 2017.
