Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has released its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Macedonia and Macedonian bank holidays for the upcoming calendar year 2017.
As was the case 2 years ago (2015-01-05), a second day of public holiday in Macedonia has been added for the Ramazan Bajram (End of Ramadan) non-working public holiday of Macedonia in 2017, as was the case in 2015.
In addition to the 11 general public holidays listed in the aforementioned announcement, there are sectorial holidays that may be taken by: citizens of Orthodox religion, Catholic religion, Muslim religion, the Albanian community, the Serb community, the Roma community, the Vlach community, the Jewish community, the Bosniak community, and the Turkish community.
