Madagascar's Conseil de Gouvernement has taken into advisement the "Décret du 4 janvier 2016 fixant la liste des jours fériés, chômés et payés au titre de l'année 2016", which declares the list of non-working public holidays in Madagascar for the calendar year 2016.
The aforementioned list of non-working public holidays in Madagascar for the calendar year 2016, confirms the cancellation, late 2 years ago (2014-12-04), of the December 11 public holiday which was created at the end of 2010 (2010-12-10).
In the aforementioned list of 2016 Madagascar public holidays, there are no public holidays reserved for Muslims, contrary to what was done for the past 2 years (2014-02-13 and 2013-01-30), but we can expect these to be announced later, as was done last year (2015-04-30 and 2015-03-26).
