Nepalese Public Holiday June 1st

The Home Ministry of the Government of Nepal has announced that the Government of Nepal had decided to declare Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holidays in Nepal on account of the upcoming "elections for the authorized trade union of the civil servants".

The aforementioned announcement of the declaration of Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holidays in Nepal on account of the upcoming "elections for the authorized trade union of the civil servants", in addition to last spring's (2015-03-03) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2072 (April 2015-April 2016).

As specified in the aforementioned announcement that the Government of Nepal had decided to declare Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holidays in Nepal, "the public holiday will be applicable only for the civil servants".
