The Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, Michael Ogio, has released the annual gazetted official list of appointed non-working public holidays in Papua New Guinea for the upcoming calendar year 2017.
For a 6th consecutive year, the aforementioned 2017 official list of Papua New Guinea non-working public holidays includes an annual non-working public holiday (2014-01-07, 2012-08-25, 2011-08-19 and 2012-08-21), the National Day of Repentance, to be observed annually on August 26.
