Sint Maarten's Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic and Telecommunication (Ministry TEATT), has officially declared Friday, March 25, 2016, as a non-working public holiday in Sint Maarten on account of the upcoming Good Friday annual non-working public holiday in Sint Maarten.
The aforementioned declaration of Friday, March 25, 2016, as a non-working public holiday in Sint Maarten on account of Good Friday ("Friday – Good Friday – March 25 is an official holiday, and that all businesses must be closed"), is in line with the official list of 2016 public holidays in Sint Maaten as announced by the Sint Maarten Labour Department, late last year (2015-11-01).
