At today's meeting, Ukraine's Cabinet issued a still unnumbered disposition which approves the previously-released draft resolution by the Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, specifying the annual official list of 2017 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, as well as the postponement of some working days in 2017, "in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time".

This past summer (2016-08-17), Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy had released a draft resolution for the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine specifying the annual official list of 2017 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, but no draft decision to postpone working days in 2017, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time.

In addition to the list of non-working public holidays 2017 in the Ukraine, as set out in the Government Order, as was done in the past (2015-11-12, 2014-11-17, 2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), a series of additional one-off bridge public holidays was declared in 2017, to be compensated by corresponding working Saturdays.

Addendum: the aforementioned Resolution has now been published as the Resolution of 16 November 2016, Number 850 "On transfer of working days in 2017".
