The Consejera de Gobierno de Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla La-Mancha, through the regional vice-president, José Luis Martínez Guijarro, has announced the annual list of regional non-working public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha for the upcoming calendar year 2018 ("calendario laboral de las fiestas laborales de carácter retribuido y no recuperable en el año 2018, en Castilla-La Mancha").

In 2018, as per the aforementioned announcement, as was the case last year (2015-09-03), the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha will declare a regional public holiday on May 31 (Día de la Región de Castilla-La Mancha) as it falls on a weekday, as it did in some past years (2015-06-17, 2013-10-01 and 2013-07-27), but not all (2014-06-13, 2012-09-21, 2010-09-01 and 2009-09-14), though it falls on the same date as Corpus Christi in 2018 and will be a regional public holiday in the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha for the eighth year in a row (2011-09-24 and 2010-09-01).
