The President of the Gambia, Adama Barrow, has announced that the upcoming annual non-working public holiday in the Gambia for the Eid ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) would be extended from its previously-announced date of Monday, June 26, 2017, to last 2 days, including Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Today's announcement is in line with previous such extensions (2016-09-09).
