The State Cabinet of the Government of India's state of Karnataka has announced its annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Karnataka for the upcoming calendar year 2018.
The aforementioned Gazette Publication follows-up on last week's unofficial announcement (2017-11-10) by the State Cabinet of the Government of India's state of Karnataka of its annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Karnataka for the upcoming calendar year 2018, and is contained in the Karnataka Government Order NO.DPAR 29 HHL 2017, which as usual (2016-11-30), omits habitual public holidays on the years when they fall on a Sunday, as is the case in 2018 for the usual Karnataka public holidays of Chandramana Ugadi and Dr Ambedkar Jayanthi ("This Notification does not include Chandramana Ugadi(l8.03.2018) which falls on Sunday and Dr.Ambedkar Jayanthi (14.04.20 I 8) which falls on Second Saturday.").
