The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that Monday, May 8, 2017, would be an additional one-off official non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan on account of the upcoming Day of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and Victory Day annual non-working public holidays of Kyrgyzstan, thus creating a 5-day period of public holidays in Kyrgyzstan from Friday, May 5, until Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
The aforementioned announcement was made in accordance with Article 113 of the Labor Code, and thus amends the approved calendar of 2017 public holidays of the Kyrgyz Republic as announced earlier this year (2017-01-09).
