The Government of Morocco, through its "ministère des Habous et des Affaires islamiques", has announced that the date for the upcoming 2017 Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Morocco, would run from Friday, September 1, 2017, until, Sunday, September 3, 2017.

The aforementioned announcement of the dates for the upcoming 2017 Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Morocco, from Friday, September 1, 2017, until, Sunday, September 3, 2017 (the second and thirds days only for the public sector), is in line with the dates of the Muslim non-working public holidays in Morocco for the calendar year 2017, as announced earlier this year (2017-01-03).

Earlier this month (2017-08-16), the Government of Morocco, through its "ministère de la fonction publique et de la modernisation de l'administration", has ruled-out the declaration of an additional non-working public holiday in Morocco, on Monday, September 4, 2017, for the 2017 Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Morocco, even if the final date of the Aid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holiday were to fall on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3, 2017.
