The Office of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced that Monday, April 10, 2017, would be a one-off half-day non-working public holiday in St. Kitts and Nevis to coincide with the state funeral of Sir Cuthbert Montraville Sebastian, the former Governor-General of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis from 1996 to 2013.

The aforementioned that Thursday, March 23, 2017, would be a one-off half-day non-working public holiday in St. Kitts and Nevis, thus further amends the list of official non-working public holidays in St. Kitts and Nevis for the calendar year 2017 as announced by the Office of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, earlier this year (2017-01-23), and which was already amended earlier this month (2017-03-16) when the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis announced that Thursday, March 23, 2017, would be a one-off half-day non-working public holiday in St. Kitts and Nevis to coincide with the state funeral of Sir Probyn Inniss, the former Governor of the Associated State of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla.
