St Vincent and the Grenadines Mull February 14 Public Holiday

The Minister of transport and Works of the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senator Julian Francis, has announced that Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves will soon be proposing to the Cabinet of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the declaration of Tuesday, February 14, 2017, as a one-off non-working public holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The aforementioned declaration of Tuesday, February 14, 2017, as a one-off non-working public holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines would be to mark the opening of the Argyle International Airport, and would be in addition to the official St Vincent and the Grenadines bank holidays and non-working public holidays in St Vincent and the Grenadines for the calendar years 2017-2018, as released late last year (2016-12-31), in accordance with the Public Holidays Act (Cap.206) and subsequent Public Holidays (Amendment) Bill, 2001 (2001-12-20, 2001-11-13, 2001-10-17 and 2001-01-11) legislation governing the list of official St Vincent and the Grenadines bank holidays and non-working public holidays in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
