The government of Belarus has issued the "Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 906 of December 15, 2018" which completes and expands the previously-released draft proposal for the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Belarus in the calendar year 2019.

Today's announcement of the "Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 906 of December 15, 2018" thus completes and expands the previously-released draft proposal for the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Belarus in the calendar year 2019, which was announced by the Council of Ministers of Belarus, earlier this month (2018-12-12), when, as is sometimes the case (2017-10-30, 2015-11-25 and 2015-11-13) but not always (2016-11-10), the government of Belarus had first issued a preliminary announcement that it had finalized its annual list of official public holidays in Belarus for the upcoming calendar year 2019.

For the 6th consecutive year (2018-12-12, 2017-10-30, 2016-11-10, 2015-11-25, 2014-11-12, 2013-12-02 and 2012-12-01), the "Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 906 of December 15, 2018" lists one-off bridge and day in lieu public holidays in Belarus for 2019, before the beginning of the year, rather than on a case-by-case basis as was the case in previous years (2012-06-03, 2012-04-09, 2012-03-01, and 2011-12-29), though last-minute changes are always possible (2014-12-17).
