The recently-announced draft of the annual official list of 2019 non-working Ceuta public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta has been approved in plenary session.
Earlier this month (2018-07-04), the Consejera de Economía y Hacienda of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta, Kissy Chandiramani had announced a draft of the annual official list of 2019 non-working Ceuta public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta. As per the aforementioned draft "Resolución de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, por el que se aprueba el calendario laboral para el año 2019.", the 2019 Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, will be observed on August 12, 2019, in Spain's region of Ceuta.
The announced annual official list of non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta for 2019, which must still be debated in plenary session, once again contains a non-working public holiday on September 2, for the Día de Ceuta (2016-10-08, 2016-10-02, 2015-10-31, 2015-10-05), but does not add another Muslim public holiday has had been proposed in the Ceuta assembly on many occasions (2016-07-11). One of the sticking points of the debate was the inclusion, or not, of a second annual Muslim public holiday in Ceuta.
