The vice-Premier ministre, chargé de la Fonction publique, de la réforme de l'Etat, du travail et de la sécurité sociale of Congo Brazzaville, Firmin Ayessa, has released a communique declaring Monday, December 31, 2018, as a one-off bridge public holiday in Congo Brazzaville.
The aforementioned decree that Monday, December 31, 2018, had been declared an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout the Republic of the Congo, amends the list of 2018 public holidays in the Republic of the Congo (2018-01-11), but is similar to previous year-end and other one-off public holidays which were declared in the past (2014-12-23, 2014-05-28, 2012-12-22, 2012-04-20, 2011-12-29, and 2010-08-12), though less frequently in recent years (2015-01-05).
