The Government of India's State of Karnataka has declared today Monday, November 12, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Indian State of Karnataka, following the death around 3am local time of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, November 12, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Indian State of Karnataka, following the death around 3am local time of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar, further amends (2018-09-09 and 2018-05-03), last autumn's (2017-11-17 and 2017-11-10), announcement by the Government of India's State of Karnataka of the "Karnataka Government Order NO.DPAR 29 HHL 2017", which contained its annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Karnataka for the, then upcoming, calendar year 2018.
