Ireland Mulls January 21 Independence Day

The cabinet of the government of the Republic of Ireland is considering a bill which would designate January 21st as the Declaration of Independence Day.

The aforementioned bill to designate January 21st as the Declaration of Independence Day is part of a long series of bills aimed at adding an observance day or bank holiday to the list of public holidays in the Republic of Ireland (10-Jun-2016, 10-Oct-2015 and 02-Sep-2014).
