(Posted on Saturday, April 28, 2018)

The Government of Lebanon has declared the period from May 4, to May 7, 2018, inclusively, as non-working public holidays in Lebanon, on account of the upcoming elections.

The aforementioned announcement of the period from May 4, to May 7, 2018, inclusively, as non-working public holidays in Lebanon, on account of the upcoming elections, thus modifies the annual list of Lebanese non-working bank holidays and public holidays in Lebanon for the calendar year 2018, released earlier this year (11-Jan-2018).

The last elections were almost a decade ago, and at that time, also, a string of electoral public holidays had been declared in Lebanon (03-Jun-2009, 29-May-2009, 20-May-2009 and 23-May-2008).
