The Federal Government of Pakistan via its Chief election commissioner, Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, has declared Wednesday, July 25, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Pakistan on account of the general elections happening on that date.

The date of previous elections has on occasion been declared a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Pakistan (2013-08-21, 2013-05-08, 2008-08-22 and 2002-09-10).
