The Samoan Government has announced that it had declared a non-working public holiday in Samoa, on Friday, April 13, 2018, "to mark the state funeral for former member of parliament, Tuiloma Pule Lameko".
The declaration of Friday, April 13, 2018, as a non-working public holiday in Samoa, as was the case in other recent declarations of one-off public holidays in Samoa (2017-09-26, 2016-12-18, 2016-05-29, 2016-02-17, 2015-07-03, 2015-05-27), is in addition to the quadrennial list of official non-working public holidays in Samoa for the calendar years 2015-2016-2017-2018, as released by the Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry And Labour in past years (2014-04-20 and 2011-09-06).
