The Prime Minister of Samoa, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, has announced that the government of Samoa would not declare a non-working public sector holiday in Samoa, on Friday, September 28, 2018, on account of the annual Public Service Day.
Last year's declaration of Thursday, September 28, 2017, as a non-working public holiday in Samoa (2017-09-26), had been in addition to the quadrennial list of official non-working public holidays in Samoa for the calendar years 2015-2016-2017-2018, as released by the Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry And Labour (2014-04-20 and 2011-09-06).
