The government of Togo has issued a communiqué announcing that Thursday, December 20, 2018, had been declared as a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Togo ("chômée et payée sur toute l'étendue du territoire national").

The aforementioned communiqué, announcing that Thursday, December 20, 2018, had been declared as a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Togo, is on account of the upcoming elections in the Togo, as was the case on previous occasions (09-Jul-2013 and 03-Mar-2010).
