Afghanistan Public Holidays April 29-May 3

The government of Afghanistan has declared a five day period of public holidays in Kabul from April 29-May 3, on account of the upcoming Loya Jirga tribal conference.

Afghanistan's President, Hamid Karzai, had similarly one-off public holidays on account of the upcoming Loya Jirga in the past (2013-11-17, 2011-11-16, 2010-06-01).
