Austria's Central Bank (Oesterreichische Nationalbank - OeNB) has released the list of national bank holidays and public holidays to be observed in Austria during the calendar year 2020.

As usual (2018-10-01, 2017-12-29, 2016-12-26, 2016-01-01, 2014-12-30 and 2013-12-23), to the aforementioned list of official non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Austria for the calendar year 2020, must be added the list of regional non-working public holidays, one per state.

Note that the aforementioned list of national bank holidays and public holidays to be observed in Austria during the calendar year 2020, does not include the Good Friday public holiday which was added (2019-02-23) and then canceled (2019-02-28), earlier this year, but it does state that Good Friday is "no bank holiday but a TARGET closing day, on which payment transactions will be handled differently".
