Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular stipulating, once again, as official non-working public holidays in Bahrain for the upcoming 2019 Eid Al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), the date of the Eid Al-Fitr as well as that of the 2 days that follow, as non-working public holidays in Bahrain to mark the Eid Al Fitr public holidays in Bahrain for the Islamic year 1440.
As per the aforementioned announcement, "if one of these three days coincide with the weekend recess, it will be compensated with another day", as was the case some past years (2018-06-13, 2016-07-04, 2015-07-15, 2013-08-06 and 2012-08-15), though not all (2017-06-21, 2014-07-25).
