Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Christmas Public Holiday January 7

Egypt’s Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saafan, has announced that Tuesday, January 7, 2020, had been declared as a paid non-working official public holiday in Egypt for employees of the country’s private and public sectors, to mark Coptic Orthodox Christmas.
As in preceding years (2019-01-04), earlier this week, Egypt's Central Bank had similarly announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, a date which has been declared a bank holiday in Egypt on account of the upcoming "Orthodox Christmas".
