India Himachal Pradesh Adds Navami Public Holiday In October

The government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh has declared an additional non-working public holiday on Monday, October 7, 2019, on account of the upcoming Navami.

The aforementioned announcement that the government of the Indian State of Himachal Pradesh had declared Monday, October 7, 2019, on account of the upcoming Navami, thus amends, for a second time (2019-05-01 and 2019-04-15), the notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming calendar year 2019, as contained in a Government Notification, issued late last year (2018-12-10), in which only Maha Ashtami and Dussehra were gazetted holidays in 2019 in Himachal Pradesh.
