The States of Jersey (the government of Jersey) have released a revised list of official Jersey public holidays for the calendar year 2020, which amends the previously-announced list of official Jersey public holidays for the calendar year 2020.

Today's updated list of 2020 public holidays in Jersey, follows this week's earlier vote of 39-0 of an additional one-off non-working public holiday on Friday, May 8, 2020, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE-Day (2019-09-25, 2019-06-13 and 2019-06-05).

In related news, the upcoming non-working UK early-May public holiday, in the UK, will move from Monday, May 4, 2020, to Friday, May 8, 2020, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE-Day (2019-06-08), and the States of Guernsey (the Guernsey Government) have gazetted an Ordinance entitled "The Public Holidays Ordinance, 2019", which "provides for Monday 4th May not to be a public holiday, and for Friday 8th May to be a public holiday" (2019-07-08, 2019-07-19 and 2019-08-14).
