The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has announced that the Nigerian Government, had declared Friday, February 22, 2019, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria "in preparation for the Saturday, February 23 presidential and National Assembly elections".
The aforementioned declaration of Friday, February 22, 2019, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria, does exclude the banking sector from the public holiday ("Those providing essential duties and bankers are excluded").
