Saudi Arabia Announces 2019 Eid Public Holidays

The Ministry of Civil Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that the Saudi public or government sector would begin its upcoming Eid al Fitr public holidays on Thursday, May 30, 2019, and until Shawwal 5.

As per the aforementioned announcement, there will be four days of official holiday each for the Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha festivals, with Ramadan 29 being the last working day according to Umm Al-Qura calendar for Eid Al-Fitr holidays while the Eid Al-Adha holiday start on Arafat day.

In the past, the Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) Saudi public sector holidays, have regularly been extended, while the End of Ramadan public sector holidays are usually quite stable (2018-06-14, 2018-06-07, 2017-08-16, 2017-06-21, 2017-06-14, 2017-05-27, 2016-09-01, 2015-09-23, 2013-09-26, 2012-09-17 and 2011-10-27).
