Seychelles President, Danny Faure, has declared Friday, January 3, 2020, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Seychelles.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, January 3, 2020, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Seychelles, is in addition to the expected list of 2020 public holidays in the Seychelles, based on previous years lists of public holidays in the Seychelles (2019-01-04, 2018-01-08) and the changes to the annual list of non-working public holidays in the Seychelles, as announced last year by Seychelles President Danny Faure during his New Year 2017 televised message to the Nation (2017-01-01).
