Ukraine 2019 Public Holidays Approved

The Ukrainian Cabinet has approved the draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers specifying the annual official list of 2019 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine as announced last autumn by the Minsotspolitiki.

Last month (2018-12-13), Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy had released a draft resolution for the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine specifying the annual official list of 2019 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, which, as in previous years, except last year (2017-12-08), included a decision to postpone working days in 2019, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time, and which was expected to be approved (2019-01-05).

In the aforementioned draft list of non-working public holidays 2019 in the Ukraine, as was done in the past (2018-01-11, 2017-12-08, 2016-11-15, 2016-08-17, 2015-11-12, 2014-11-17, 2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), a series of additional one-off bridge public holidays was declared in 2019, to be compensated by corresponding working Saturdays.
