The Government of the Ukraine has approved last summer's draft moving some working days to a nearby weekend to rationalize the range of public holidays in the Ukraine in the calendar year 2020.

This past summer (2019-08-09), Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy had published a list of 2020 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, which did not address the then recent (2019-08-06) draft resolution which included a decision to postpone a working day in 2020, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time, which, as was done in the past (2019-01-10, 2018-01-11, 2017-12-08, 2016-11-15, 2016-08-17, 2015-11-12, 2014-11-17, 2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), would have that additional one-off bridge public holiday in the Ukraine in 2020, compensated by a corresponding working Saturday.
