Zimbabwe's Ministry of Information has issued a tweet ruling-out the declaration of a weeklong period of non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe following the death of Robert Mugabe in Singapore.
The aforementioned announcement is thus in line with the dates for the 2019 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe, as announced last year (2018-09-22).
It now remains to be seen if the recent, February 21, Robert Gabriel Mugabe National Youth Day, new annual non-working public holiday in Zimbabwe, in honour of Robert Mugabe (2018-02-20, 2017-11-22 and 2017-08-19) will remain part of the Zimbabwe Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act (Chapter 10:21).
