The Minister-President of the Central Bank of Cuba (BCC), Marta Sabina Wilson González, has announced that Wednesday and Thursday, December 30 and 31, 2020, will be bank holidays, due to the upcoming changes in the monetary regulation of Cuba, beginning on January 1, 2021 ("el último día bancario del año será el 29 de diciembre y se dará servicio esa jornada hasta las 7:00 p.m.").
The aforementioned declaration of Cuban bank holidays on Wednesday and Thursday, December 30 and 31, 2020, thus amends the list of 2020 public holidays in Cuba, as announced earlier by the Cuban government, at the beginning of this year (2020-01-02).
Note that, ever since the extension of the January 1st non-working public holiday to span 3 days (2007-11-20), December 31st is already a public holiday in Cuba.
