The Government of India's state of Jharkhand, by order of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has declared a one-off non-working public holiday tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, 2020, as a public holiday for the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The aforementioned declaration of Thursday, January 23, 2020, as a one-off non-working public holiday in India's state of Jharkhand thus amends the notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Jharkhand for the calendar year 2020 (2019-12-22).

The birth commemoration of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was an annual public holiday in India's state of Jharkhand, until 5 years ago, when the then BJP state government removed it from the list of 2015 public holidays.
