Indonesian president, Joko Widodo, has announced that he might change the dates of the upcoming end of Ramadan public holidays, due to the current Covid19 pandemic ("Perhaps an alternative is to change the dates of the public holiday. This will be discussed").

Recall that, only last month (2020-03-09), the government of Indonesia amended its previously-released annual decree designating the list of Indonesian public holidays and collective leave days for the calendar year 2020 ("the decision to change the joint leave in 2020 was to increase the spirit of the State Civil Apparatus in working"), adding 4 cuti bersama (collective leave days) on May 28-29, August 21 and October 30, and thus amending the annual decree designating the list of Indonesian public holidays and collective leave days for the calendar year 2020, as announced last summer("Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama Tahun 2020").
