The States of Jersey (the government of Jersey) have released the annual list of official Jersey non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jersey for the calendar year 2021.

In line with previous announcements of the list of official public holidays in Jersey (2019-06-05, 2018-10-16, 2017-11-28, 2016-08-27, 2015-08-16, 2012-09-18, 2011-03-08 and 2011-01-20), but not all (2013-10-01), the aforementioned announcement of the annual list of official Jersey non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jersey for the calendar year 2021, lists only one additional year of official Jersey non-working public holidays at the time.

What seems to be missing from the aforementioned list of 2021 public holidays in Jersey, is the September 27, 2021, one-off public holiday declared earlier this year to mark the 250th anniversary of the Corn Riots (2020-02-04). This is somewhat odd as last year's declaration of a one-off public holiday on May 8th (2019-09-25) was followed within days by an official confirmation (2019-09-28).
