Liberian Armed Forces Public Holiday 2020

The President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a proclamation declaring Tuesday, February 11th, 2020, as the date of the upcoming Armed Forces Day, a non-working public holiday of Liberia to be observed throughout the country as a national holiday.

As per custom on these last-minute re-confirmations of annual public holidays (2019-11-28, 2019-08-21, 2019-05-12, 2018-10-30, 2018-08-23, 2018-07-29, 2018-03-10, 2017-10-06, 2017-05-12, 2016-05-12, 2015-04-09, 2015-03-14, 2014-07-17, 2014-04-10, 2013-04-05, 2013-03-13, 2012-11-27, 2012-10-31, 2012-07-23, 2011-11-01, 2011-04-06, 2010-11-03, 2010-07-23 and 2010-04-08), the Foreign Ministry release states that "the Proclamation orders all Government Offices, Public and Business Houses be closed in observance of the day".
