The President of the Republic of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a Proclamation declaring Sunday, November 29, 2020, as a public holiday in Liberia to mark the 125th Birth Anniversary of William V. S. Tubman, and to be observed throughout the Republic of Liberia as a national holiday.
This year, due to November 29 falling on a Sunday, "President Weah has ordered and directed that all government ministries, agencies, business houses, and market places be closed on Monday, November 30, 2020".
