Moldova Covid19 Public Holidays Compensated By 12 Working Saturdays

The Moldovan Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, has submitted a proposal to the government of Moldova, whereby the recent month long period of Covid19-related public sector holidays in Moldova, would be compensated by the public sector of Moldova working 12 Saturdays, spread-out over the next 6 months ("23 mai, 13 iunie, 20 iunie, 4 iulie, 18 iulie, 1 august, 22 august, 5 septembrie, 19 septembrie, 3 octombrie, 17 octombrie și 31 octombrie anul curent").

The initial list of 2020 annual non-working public holidays in Moldova, as announced, late last year (2019-12-17 and 2019-12-03), was initially amended March 30 to April 6, then April 7-17, were declared public sector holidays in Moldova due to the Covid19 pandemic (2020-04-13 and 2020-04-06).

These Covid19 public sector holidays were extended once more until April 24, 2020 (2020-04-14), and finally until May 3, 2020 (2020-04-25).
