Moldova's Cabinet has decided to postpone the upcoming April 27, 2020, Easter Monday public holiday of Moldova, to Monday, June 8, 2020, the date of the Blajinilor Passover, due to the current coronavirus pandemic ("Easter religious services will be held without parishioners").
The declaration of Monday, April 27, 2020, as a regular working day in Moldova, is subject to revision, should the current April 7-17, 2020, public sector holidays (2020-04-06) be extended ("The day of Monday, April 27, will be declared a working day, this is the case if the Exceptional Situations Commission will not extend the quarantine regime for those days as well").
The initial list of 2020 annual non-working public holidays in Moldova, was announced, late last year (2019-12-17 and 2019-12-03).
