The ministère des Habous et des Affaires islamiques of the government of Morocco has announced that the upcoming Aïd Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays of Morocco would begin on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

The aforementioned announcement of Sunday and Monday, May 24-25, 2020, as the dates of the non-working public holidays for the upcoming Aïd Al Fitr (End of Ramadan), is in line with the official list of 2020 non-working public holidays in Morocco, as released, at the beginning of this year (2019-12-27).

Recall that, last year (2019-06-03), the government of Morocco had extended the 2019 Aïd Al Fitr public holidays by a third day, Friday, June 7, 2019, which had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday for Government workers and the public sector of Morocco.
