The Government of Morocco, through its ministère des Habous et des affaires islamiques, has confirmed its previously-announced date for the upcoming 2020 Aid Al Mawlid (Prophet's Birthday) non-working public holiday of Morocco, as beginning on Thursday, October 29, 2020 ("Le mois de Rabie-I de l’an 1442 de l’hégire débutera le dimanche 18 octobre, et Aïd Al Mawlid Annabawi sera célébré jeudi 29 octobre 2020").
The aforementioned announcement of the date for the upcoming 2020 Aid Al Mawlid (Prophet's Birthday) non-working public holiday in Morocco, as Thursday, October 29, 2020, is in line with the date of the Muslim non-working public holidays in Morocco for the calendar year 2020, as announced early this year (2019-12-27).
