The government of Slovakia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published its annual official list of 2021 Slovakian bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Slovakia for the upcoming calendar year 2021.
The Slovakian list of 2021 public holidays confirms that the recently-gazetted amendments to the law on national holidays, non-working days and memorial days, making October 28 an annual state holiday in Slovakia, beginning in 2021, did not create a non-working public holiday, but rather only an observance date (2020-11-03 and 2019-10-28).
