Sri Lanka Eid Public Holiday May 25

The Sri Lankan government declared Monday, May 25, 2020, as a public holiday, mercantile holiday and bank holiday, throughout Sri Lanka, on account of the upcoming End of Ramadan annual public holiday of Sri Lanka.

Contrary to the recent public holidays and bank holidays announced by the government of Sri Lanka (2020-03-19, 2020-03-16 and 2020-03-14), the aforementioned declaration of Monday, May 25, 2020, as a public holiday, mercantile holiday and bank holiday, on account of the upcoming End of Ramadan annual public holiday of Sri Lanka, is in line with the official list of Sri Lankan public holidays and bank holidays for the calendar year 2020 as announced last year (2019-10-05 and 2019-06-10).
