Thailand's government spokesperson, Traisulee Traisoranakul, has announced that the Thai government had voted to celebrate December 4, the day before the annual public holiday for King Bhumibol’s birthday, as National Unity Day, to commemorate a speech by King Bhumibol, on December 4, 1991.
The aforementioned creation of December 4, annually, as National Unity Day, will not be a non-working public holiday in Thailand, and therefore the previously-released list of 2020 public holidays in Thailand (2019-07-31), remains unchanged, apart from the changes already announced, earlier this year (2020-03-16 and 2020-02-18).
