The Plenary Session of the Consell of the Generalitat Valenciana has approved a decree announcing the annual calendar of non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia for the upcoming calendar 2021 ("decreto por el que se establece el calendario laboral de aplicación en el ámbito de la Comunitat Valenciana para el año 2021").

As per the aforementioned announcement ("Se declaran, dentro del ámbito territorial de la Comunitat Valenciana, días inhábiles, a efectos laborales retribuidos y no recuperables, las fechas que a continuación se relacionan"), in its annual official calendar of non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia for the upcoming calendar year 2021, the Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana decided to remove Maundy Thursday from the 2021 list of non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Valencia, as is usually the case, with some exceptions (2019-05-30, 2018-08-05, 2017-07-28, 2017-06-29, 2016-06-21, 2014-07-11, 2013-09-17 and 2009-11-09).

As usual, the date of June 24 is added separately, at the end of the list of 2021 public holidays in Spain's Community of Valencia ("Además, se establece como festivo con carácter retribuido y recuperable el 24 de junio, día de San Juan").
